About Me

I’m Jason, a dedicated running coach certified in both Lydiard™ Levels 1 & 2. Coming from New Zealand, my love for running began in 2015 when I started hitting the pavement with my dog, Pacsi. Starting with short 2-3km runs, I faced challenges with endurance and muscle strength. Even tackling 5-10km distances felt daunting at first. Yet, fueled by perseverance and driven by consistency, I pushed past my limits until I stood at the starting line of my first-ever race in 2019—a 49km Trail Ultra Marathon.

Fast forward to today, and my running endeavors span across varied terrains, from the roads to the rugged trails. I’ve taken on distances ranging from fast 5k sprints to the demanding challenges of 100k+ ultras, each step bringing me joy, not only in the race but the training that proceeds it. Now, as a coach, my mission is to share the invaluable insights learned from my own journey and guide aspiring runners along their individual paths.
